PIPING

I have been piping for many years at corporate hospitality and tourist related events, such venues including

Edinburgh Castle for Historic Scotland,

Gleneagles Hotel for a corporate hospitality Burns Supper,

Stirling Castle for the Provost's Civic Awards Dinner and presentations and various other events,

Mugdock Castle for the Clan Graham annual world-wide re-union,

Glenfarg Hotel for the Clan Macpherson annual Burns Supper,

as well as mini Highland Games at Crieff, Aberfoyle, and Cheshire.

In May 2003 I was retained as resident piper at Kinlochmoidart House for 2 days to welcome guests arriving, pipe guests in to dinner, and pipe reveille in the mornings, and my actress ghost re-enacted part of the history of the castle during dinner. In June 2008 I have been invited back there to pipe at a Silver Wedding house party.

I am also asked quite frequently to pipe at weddings - religious, registry, and humanist, also civil partnerships, and these venues have included Stirling Castle, Linlithgow Palace, Doune Castle, Culcreuch Castle, and Glengorm Castle Isle of Mull.

St. Andrews Night functions and Burns Suppers continue to be popular, with a piper always required, and I can also Address the Haggis if required.

I am also quite frequently asked to pipe at funeral services in central Scotland, as some people feel that this creates an atmospheric ambience to the service.
